R-controlled Assembly committee passes 5 bills

FNG Evan Wynn applauded himself today for passage of four bills this week in the Assembly military and veterans affairs committee.

FNG Dick Spanbauer, chair of the committee, had enough votes to pass AB 320, recognizing corporate power of MC League corporations; AB 428, noncompetitive appointment of certain disabled vets to classified positions to state civil service jobs; AB 429, waving fees for certain professional and occupational licenses issued to vets; AB 437, income and franchise tax credit for hiring unemployed disabled vets; and AB 438, applying military service to satisfy professional credentialing requirements.
